The Wats in V-town were very different to Thailand and LP; good for us, don't want to get notmorewats-itis. They were a bit more vibrant and different in colour compared to Thailand; and seemed in a much better state of repair than the ones in LP. Of course, there was always the obligatory Tuk Tuk driver snoozing outside.

After Wat-ting it up, we went to find some street food lunch

Unfortunately, our stomachs thought this was just the worst idea and proceeded to 'voice' their disagreement. We decided to power on through, hope for the best (and always aware of the nearest cafe) to another Wat.

Again, quite visually different, but this one was attached to a school. Good thing we were in V-town, pretty sure in the UK a middle aged man walking around a school in the middle of the day would raise some eyebrows and calls would be made.

Alas, despite our trying, the stomachs could not be quelled and so we thought it prudent to return and remain in the hotel with close proximity to a bathroom.
